Students will listen and watch many kinds of arts, such as performing and visual arts. They will communicate ideas and feeling using arts, and present it in front of others.

Students will be exposed to three types of arts, visual, performing and literary arts which require either gross or fine motor skills. They will apply elements of art from the art they choose to create an art work which represent their own uniqueness

Risk-taker: They will learn to be a risk-taker to create an artwork, to present and communicate it in front of others.
Open-minded: Learning a lot of different perspectives from various arts will make students become more open-minded to different values and perspectives in arts.
Inquirer: Students enjoy what they are learning, being able to choose their own interests which lead to do research related to their interests independently.
ATTITUDES: Appreciation, Creativity, Confidence
Appreciation: Students will appreciate the beauty of arts, learn a lot of different types of arts.
Creativity: Students will show their creativity when they have to create their own art work that shows their uniqueness

Each student has to create and produce artwork that shows their uniqueness / personal style

- Planning: Students describe in detail reasons why s/he chooses the art work, how s/he envisions the final product and how they intend to reach their goal.
- Process: Students use the techniques being studied and apply it in a way that is totally his/her own. The student's personality/voice comes through.
- Analysis: Students accurately describe several dominant elements, the theme, meaning, mood, or feeling of the artwork. They are able to explain clearly the artist and artworks which become the inspiration and cite them correctly

● Analyze an artwork based on the elements of arts ● Make comparisons between 2 artworks by different artists from the same art forms ● Describe the artists and their life which give big influence to their artworks ● Analyze an artwork based on the artist’s identity Use De Bono'sthinking hats to analyze an art work: 1. Red Hats activity: focused questions (perspective): what kind of feelings involved in the arts? what makes you feel? 2. White hats activity focused questions (forms): what kind of art is it? what elements of arts being used, who paint it, when, where? 3. Blue Hats activity: focused questions (function, connection): how is it painted, how did the artist get inspiration? think about materials, equipment and tools to paint. consider about the background and story of the painting which related to the artist life. 4.
