Transdisciplinary skillso Thinking Skills: Students will use their comprehension on the content of many secondary resources they read to analyze a many issues related to children’s rights. They will do an evaluation to make judgements on the issues based on the 2 charters.
o Research Skills: Throughout the learning, students will develop and use research skills to inquire into issues or evidence about rights and responsibilities concepts in general. They will look into the practice of human rights both locally and globally. They will use the skills to collect, record, organize and interpret their findings and then present the findings in written reports and digital formats. o Communication Skills: Students will practice their reading skills to read a variety of sources for information, to comprehend, analyse and draw conclusions on what they read. They will also practice their presenting skills to communicate information and ideas in a variety of visual media. |

Summative Assessment Task
What are the possible ways of assessing students’ understanding of the central idea? What evidence, including student-initiated actions, will we look for?
Students choose one aspect of children’s rights (education, social, nationality, or political) and promote its practices using a blog and poster. |
